Pinnacle Video Transfer

Pinnacle2:
Pinnacle Video Transfer unit will allow you to record from your Lifesize codec to a usb flash stick, to an ipod, or to a external hard drive.

As the Lifesize MP unit only has one video out and one audio out source, you will need the following cabling and technology to support the process:

  1. A scan converter
  2. A storage device
To connect, follow these steps:

VGA Connection
to the Scan Converter

  1. Connect a VGA cable from the codec out to the scan convert in.
  2. Connect a VGA cable from the monitor to the Scan Converter out.

Pinnacle Transfer Recording Process

  1. Insert flash drive.
  2. Press mode to start.  Blue means ready.  You can set quality by pressing mode for good, better, best.
  3. Press record.  Red means recording
  4. Press record to stop.  When transfer turns blue, recording finished.

Viewing Recorded Video from Flash Stick (view video play process)
  1. Open up storage device in computer
  2. Open video folder
  3. Using Quicktime or Itunes, open recorded video - m4v
