  The Big Read and Fahrenheit 451:
  
  Join Washington University's Big Read celebration of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Be involved in the discussion of government, politics, privacy and technology issues in the book.
  
  To Kill a Mockingbird:
  
  As part of their study of "To Kill A Mockingbird," students will have the opportunity to take a virtual tour of  Monroeville, Alabama and interact with adults who knew Ms. Lee as a child and writer.
  
  Lewis and Clark Then and Now:
  
  Visit the language arts section of this interdisciplinary project linking students to the people, places, events and study of the Lewis and Clark expedition to America's school curriculum.
  
• July 20 8:30-3:30 - Enriching your curriculum supported by Distance Learning technology - This workshop is targeted for all teachers K-12 who would like to find out how existing distance learning technology in their school can provide virtual trip experiences for their students.  The workshop will include:an introduction to local, regional, national, and international programs. how to schedule a program and who to contact at your school for support with the distance learning equipment. and how to prepare your students to be active participants in these virtual trips and more.  Register for this workshop at http://odie.esu10.org There is no charge for this workshop.
