Lifesize Codec Support Videos

As you use work with your Lifesize codecs, you may want to review some of its features.  Over time, we will create a series of videos to assist in this process.  Click on the link and watch the video.

Redial Connection VideoThis video will explain how the redial menu works and how you can set up a permenant entry for scheduling your classes.
Directory Connection VideoThe directory (yellow button on your remote) provides you with a list of sites you add (local directory) and sites that ESU 10 has created (corporate directory).  This video will review those directories.
Creating A Meeting VideoThis video will review how you use the directories to set up and schedule a point to point class or a multiple connection class.  The video will also share how you get that meeting as a permenant entry in your redial list.

2. On the redial page, how do you save a site?
1. Highlight the site to save. 2. Depress the # key. 3. Select the „lock‰ option
3. How can you change the volume 
out on the codec?
1. System Menu - User Preference. 2. Select audio option 3. Change „line in volume‰
4. What can you do if the camera is 
not in focus?
 Depress the zoom in or out to 
reset camera focus
5. You have audio but no video. 
What should you do?
1. Click the near button to make sure 
you are on a working input. or II. Double check to make sure that you have made a video and not a voice call.
6. You can‚t do presets?
 1. Go back to the call screen. 2. Select video call. 3. Right arrow over and select
 presets option. 4. Set camera location and hold down a number key to set preset.
7. When using a secondary input, you would 
like to also be visible to your students.
 1. Click the start presentation - blue 
button. 2.  If you have same image twice, 
change input by clicking near button.
8. How can you change from one input
option to another - quickly.
 1. The primary input will be your camera.  When you click the near button and select a new input, that option becomes the secondary input. 2.  To toggle between the 2 input options, depress the blue button.
