LB 1208 Timeline

The following is the Phase II installation timeline for distance education upgrades:  (FYI - For your information with no action required)

Submit summer plan for assisting in Equipment and Network upgrade.
June
Your School Board must approve and submit payment for CODEC/Cart orders and Router/Switch orders.
June 9,10,12,19,20
CODEC distribution and training at ESU 10 (9th,10th,19th,20th) & ESU 11 (12th).  Must have a school representative in at least one training to get your CODEC that is awarded as part of USDA grant.
June 15 or ASAPSubmit duplicate receipt payment copies to ESU 10 of equipment as evidence of in-kind contribution in support of the USDA grant. Submit by fax 308-233-9066 or by mail ESU 10 - POB 850 Kearney 68847
June 30
Member schools must complete Distance Education Reimbursement Report using Nebraska GMS.  Click here to see a sample of evidence needed for payment documentation.
July 1
FYI - Official connection date for ESU 10/11 schools to Network Nebraska.
July 1
FYI - Upgrade of transport networks for STEPS and TVDEC north schools by IPS providers (NCTC & Qwest)
July (TBD)
ESU 10 staff will change out classroom equipment in STEPS and TVDEC north schools
Sept/October
FYI - Should receive reimbursement of LB1208 funds.
